Michelle will direct Anne Carson's adaptation of Sophocles' Antigone.

VASTA -- August 2024
During the "In/Corporate Voice" symposium she presented her research on the use of Lessac Kinesensic Body Wisdom with neurodivergent performers in somatic self-teaching during the "Neurodiversity, Kinesensics, and the Need for Compassionate Equity in Performance Training"presentation with Elizabeth Parks and Laura Pirret.

Michelle directed Meghan Brown's The Pliant Girls, a contemporary reimagining of Aeschylus' The Suppliants.

Michelle is now a Professional RSME with ISMETA.

Michelle is now a designated Certified Teacher with the institute.

Michelle completed her Facilitator Training in Lessac Kinesensics in Spring 2023. She is now working on completing her certification.

Lessac Institute, Summer Intensive -- July 2022
Michelle attended the 2022 Summer Intensive to advance her training in Lessac Kinesensics Voice and Body Techniques while furthering her research on the Body NRG's. She now holds "Practitioner" status with the Institute.

Barry University, American Cinema Course -- Spring 2022
Michelle taught an American Cinema survey course (ART 347) in the Fine Arts department. This is a course on the history of American film as an art form, as an industry, and as a system of representation and communication.Cinematic genres are analyzed as art forms. The course explores how Hollywood films work technically, aesthetically, and culturally to reinforce and challenge America’s national self-image.

Lessac International Conference - January 2022
Michelle presented a paper on her research of The Female Gaze in filmmaking theory and praxis. She presented her research on the use of the Lessac Body NRG's on set as a tool for activating "the feeling camera" in her own filmmaking practice investigating artifice and interiority.
