Lessac Training and Research Institute -- February 2024

Michelle is now a designated Certified Teacher with the institute.

New Works Festival -- Hippodrome Theatre - October 2023

Michelle produced the fourth year of the play development festival.

Michelle played the role of Bernadette in Selina Fillingers's POTUS.

Lessac Institute -- March/April 2023

Michelle completed her Facilitator Training in Lessac Kinesensics in Spring 2023. She is now working on completing her certification.

Hippodrome Theatre - February 2022

Michelle directed Dry Land by  Ruby Rae Spielgel for The Hipp "Unplugged" staged reading series.  NPR WUFT

Michelle played the role of Liddie in Beth Kander's Running Mates.

Lessac Institute, Summer Intensive -- July 2022

Michelle attended the 2022 Summer Intensive to advance her training in Lessac Kinesensics Voice and Body Techniques while furthering her research on the Body NRG's. She now holds "Practitioner" status with the Institute.

Barry University, American Cinema Course -- Spring 2022

Michelle taught an American Cinema survey course (ART 347) in the Fine Arts department. This is a course on the history of American film as an art form, as an industry, and as a system of representation and communication.Cinematic genres are analyzed as art forms. The course explores how Hollywood films work technically, aesthetically, and culturally to reinforce and challenge America’s national self-image.

Michelle directed the production of David Adjmi's play.

New Works Festival, Hippodrome Theatre - February 2022

Michelle produced the second year of the play development festival.

Lessac International Conference - January 2022

Michelle presented a paper on her research of The Female Gaze in filmmaking theory and praxis. She presented her research on the use of the Lessac Body NRG's on set as a tool for activating "the feeling camera" in her own filmmaking practice investigating artifice and interiority.

​Michelle directed SAINTan experimental narrative feature film.
